If you don't have too many recurring appointments you could try the following that could solve the problem:

- Open outlook
- Delete your google calendar
- In Outlook click on view tab->change view->list; this will show you
all the recurring appointments packed together
- Edit the recurring settings of each recurring appointment and save
them. Any change will do. i.e. you could edit one yearly appointment
by changing it to daily, save it and then change it back to yearly and
save it again. This will correct any incomplete data
- syncronize the calendars.

I hope this is not too much of a hassle.
If you do it please let me know the outcome.

Thank you
FrancescoFrancesco Claudio Mazzahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08376357185150769252noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6434321356676135574.post-84832831863873794002011-04-04T10:28:15.524-07:002011-04-04T10:28:15.524-07:00Dear Patrick,

I'm using Outlook 2010 x64, and i must say it is just an easy plugin/program.

The only (minor) thing i do not prefer is that it is syncing when outlook is started, this results that outlook take some time to start. I think that it is better to sync after outlook is started, because this way you have te option to already use Outlook. But this is just my opinion and i'm already happy with this solution, so far the first freeware google sync solutions for outlook 2010 x64 that i found!

Thanks,
RolandUnknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02164486901968349322noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6434321356676135574.post-81618145823318586482011-03-31T01:54:15.941-07:002011-03-31T01:54:15.941-07:00Dear Grant,

The program syncs at outlook startup and when you press the sync button. The first sync usually takes some time, while others usually take a few seconds.
Once you install the program, insert the settings and then press sync once. Give it a few minutes. you will receive a message as soon as the sync process is completed.
The reason that your outlook freezes is that it is due to the startup sync.
Since you didn't allow enough time for outlook to complete the first long sync in the beguinning, the long sync is happening at startup.
Please just allow a little time to pass for the program to sync and everything should be fine.
Please let me know through the forum if you should have any more problems.
FrancescoFrancesco Claudio Mazzahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08376357185150769252noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6434321356676135574.post-58347696118742183162011-03-30T15:50:37.927-07:002011-03-30T15:50:37.927-07:00Hi Francesco,

No problem there. I was able to install the program and enter credentials with no problem either. However, when I clicked the sync button nothing happened. I had set up a test appointment in my google calendar but it did not sync. The next time I went to open Outlook, it froze and the sync tab was not there. When I used task manager to close it, the sync bar appeared but Outlook was still frozen. I killed Oulook and tried to reopen again but same problem. I uninstalled your sync program and Outlook worked fine. I tried to reinstall 1 more time but exact same problem. After unistall, my Outlook works fine.
I would like to use and donate but unfortunately it does not work on my setup. Thank you for your interest. Outlook ...Dear Kenson,
Thank you for your interest. Outlook 2011 exists only for mac. Developing for mac requires a complete different work and would require us to more or less start from scratch. Basically it would mean start developing a completely new and different program.
This would mean that most likely developing this program could cost approximately 200 USD. Unfortunately unless we find more people interested in such a version in order to collect at least 50% if the cost in donations, we won't be able to make it.

Please post in the forum exactly the features you would like in the new app request section, so that if we should find other people interested in what you need, we would gladly develop it!

Thank you for your interest!
FrancescoFrancesco Claudio Mazzahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08376357185150769252noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6434321356676135574.post-51618810126492282832011-03-29T22:40:55.963-07:002011-03-29T22:40:55.963-07:00If you add support for Outlook 2011 (full program ...If you add support for Outlook 2011 (full program not express) I will donate $5 once I fully test it to see if it works (give me a week my dad doesn't let me on every single day)Kensonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01384909748456287603noreply@blogger.com
