Our Mission

Dear Visitor,
Our goal is to make a Freeware Software Develoment company.

Our objective is to rely on users for the definition of what programs to develop, and what functionalities to add. This is why we chose UD Soft (from User-Defined Software) as the name of our company.
We rely purely on donations to sustain the software development costs. Donations will also allow us to keep on working on patches and updates.
We think our kind of company, if economically sustainable, could really challenge the software industry as we know know it. Our company could deliver to the user the program he wants, with the features he desires, for free, allowing him to contribute as much as he thinks the program is worth to him.

This is our pilot project. If we will be able to collect enough funds to be able to payback the initial investment for the Outlook-Google Calendar Sync app we will launch the company and start investing more resources and time in this business venture.
In our forum you can already find a section for new software requests. That is where we'll start for our next phase, if this first pilot works out.

If you like the idea of a software house like the one we have in mind, please support us. Your support will be decisive.

Beta Version 0.2

Dear readers,
Version 0.2 of our freeware Outlook Google Calendar sync is out.
It fixes some bugs, and should be more stable than the previous versions.
This version is still unable to delete events upon syncronization.
Also there is a known bug that the automatic syncronization upon closing of MS Outlook may not work correctly.

Please download 0.2 version from the following link:

  1. It gives me a 404 error when I try to get the file after clicking download. Can you upload it somewhere else like rapidshare or megaupload? Even sourceforge perhaps?

  2. Hello Rift,
I'm sorry to hear that you were unable to download the application. The link works fine on my side. You should just need to click on the above link and in the new page that opens click on the "download file" link.

Anyway you can find the file at the following address in the forum :
    http://outlook-googlesync.forumfree.it/?t=54385818

Otherwise if you should not be able to download it even from there I have uploaded it on another free hosting service at the following link:

Please get back to me with a feedback on how is the program working on your side.

You can email me at francescocmazza@gmail.com

  3. I am using office 2007 and upon opening I get a message that reads. User credentials are not found. Kindly enter your google credentials using "Enter Google Credentials" button in 'Synchornizer' Ribbon Tab. Where is the Synchronizer Ribbon Tab? There is nothing different in my outlook.

  4. Hi Humberto,
you should find a new tab above. Take a look where you currently find the following tabs: File, Home, send/receive, folder etc... you should find a new tab named syncronizer. In there you will be able to enter your credentials.

this program is currently being developed for outlook 2010. It should run as well in outlook 2007, but I can't assure you that at the moment.
Our initial plans were to ensure compatibility with 2007 as well, but at the moment we are using all our fundings to fix some bugs.
Once these biggest bugs are solved theorically the program should work on your side as well.

Please let me know if you were able to find the sync ribbon and if you encounter any issues with the program.
    Thank you

  5. I can't find the tab on outlook 2007. Is there a way to manually enter my gmail account information? Maybe through the manifest file. I'm also a developer.

  6. Dear Humberto,
I have asked the programmer to explain me how to use it on 2007. He told me it should work as well in 2007, but he said he would explain me better later on.
Unfortunately he had some issues with his departure and he was unable to explain before he left. Surely when he will come back he will explain us, but until then we are "left alone" on this.

I am pretty sure it should work as well in your version of outlook. You only need to find where is the menu. In my opinion you should be able to find the menu somewhere, probably

By the way, did you install .net framework and VSTO?
